Palmgrenska Samskolan
('Palmgren Coeducational School'), originally ('Practical Work School for Children and Youth'), in Stockholm, Sweden, was the first school in Scandinavia to offer coeducation up to the ''studentexamen''. It was also the first to offer sloyd, a handicraft-based education, in addition to theoretical subjects. The school changed its name to in 1891–1892. Vice Admiral Charles Léon de Champs (10 October 1873 – 17 February 1959) was a Swedish Navy officer who was the Chief of the Naval Staff from 1936 to 1937 and the Chief of the Navy from 1936 to 1939. Karin Ekelund
Karin Ekelund (26 May 1913 – 21 December 1976) was a Swedish actress. She appeared in 29 films between 1933 and 1976. She was the first female radio producer in Sweden, producing, and later directing, for Sveriges Radio's Radio Theatre. She performed in mainly comedic films, although she did have a few serious roles to her name. She was one of the most famous actresses of her time and often drew large crowds of fans. Sonja Branting-Westerståhl
Sonja Branting-Westerståhl (15 September 1890 – 18 July 1981) was a Swedish lawyer and politician. She was one of the first female lawyers in Sweden and specialised in matrimonial law.
