Palau–Serbia Relations
Palau–Serbia relations are the bilateral relations between Palau and Serbia. Both nations are members of the United Nations. Two countries collaborate through their non-resident embassies in Tokyo. History During the Cold War period SFR Yugoslavia was one of the initial member states of the Special Committee on Decolonization where together with India the country criticized the refusal of the administering powers of the United Nations trust territories (including in the case of Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands) to cooperate with the body. Palau,, officially the Republic of Palau and historically ''Belau'', ''Palaos'' or ''Pelew'', is an island country and microstate in the western Pacific. The nation has approximately 340 islands and connects the western chain of the Caroline Islands with parts of the Federated States of Micronesia. It has a total area of . Radio Television of Republika Srpska (Serbian: ''Радио Телевизија Републике Српске'' / Radio Televizija Republike Srpske or RTRS) is the entity-level public broadcaster which operates radio and television services in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Maja Gojković ( sr-Cyrl, Маја Гојковић; born 22 May 1963) is a Serbian politician serving as deputy prime minister of Serbia and minister of culture and information since 2020. A member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), she previously served as president of the National Assembly from 2014 to 2020. As a member of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), she served as minister without portfolio from 1998 to 1999 and deputy prime minister of Yugoslavia from 1999 to 2000.
