Pakowki, Alberta
Pakowki is an unincorporated community in Alberta, Canada within the County of Forty Mile No. 8. It is located along Highway 61 in southeast Alberta. It is one of many ghost towns along the historic Red Coat Trail route. Pakowki name originates from nearby Pakowki Lake, about 10 km south. The word "Pakowki" is Blackfoot for "Bad Water". Very little remains of Pakowki, foundations and impressions in the ground from buildings can still be seen, although nothing remains, except the former Canadian Pacific Railway section house that has since been moved to a nearby community. Blackfoot

The Ford Model T is an automobile that was produced by Ford Motor Company from October 1, 1908, to May 26, 1927. Etzikom, Alberta
Etzikom is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada within the County of Forty Mile No. 8. It is approximately east of Foremost on Highway 61. Etzikom was founded in 1915. Its name comes from the Blackfoot language word for ''valley'' or ''coulee'', referring to Etzikom Coulee. Weyburn, Saskatchewan
Weyburn is the eleventh-largest city in Saskatchewan, Canada. The city has a population of 10,870. It is on the Souris River southeast of the provincial capital of Regina and is north from the North Dakota border in the United States. Stirling is a village in southern Alberta, Canada that is surrounded by the County of Warner No. 5. A section house is a building or house-like structure located near or next to a section of railroad used for housing railroad workers, or for the storing and maintenance of equipment for a section of railroad. Pakowki Lake
Pakowki Lake is an endorheic lake in Alberta, Canada located south of Etzikom, Alberta and not far north is the former town site of Pakowki which may have received its name from the lake. It is located in the prairies of southern Alberta, at an elevation of , in the County of Forty Mile No. 8. It is fed by a number of coulees and creeks, such as Etzikom Coulee, Irrigation Creek, Erickson Coulee, Ketchum Creek, Canal Creek, Bond Coulee and Bryant Coulee, and has no outflow. Reaching a maximum extent of , it is one of the largest lakes in the province. The name means "bad water" in Blackfoot language, named so for the bad smell caused by the lack of an outflow. While it is the largest water body in southern Alberta, its waters are intermittent, and it can be classified as a slough. In times of flooding, the lake overflows through a channel into the Milk River, which flows south of the lake.
