Pajarito Gómez
''Pajarito Gómez'' is a 1965 Argentine comedy film directed by Rodolfo Kuhn. It was entered into the 15th Berlin International Film Festival. It was also selected as the Argentine entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 38th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee. The film is a satire of the promotional machine behind the Argentine pop stars of the 1960s. In 2000, it was included in the list of The 100 Greatest Films of Argentine Cinema at number 27, after a poll conducted by the Museo del Cine Pablo Ducrós Hicken. In a new version of the survey organized in 2022 by the specialized magazines ''La vida util'', ''Taipei'' and ''La tierra quema'', presented at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, the film reached the 22nd position. Rodolfo Kuhn
Rodolfo Kuhn (29 December 1934 – 3 January 1987) was an Argentine film director, screen writer and producer. Kuhn was born in Buenos Aires. He directed and wrote the script to the 1967 popular Brazilian film, '' El ABC del amor'' with Eduardo Coutinho near the beginning of his career. The film was entered into the 17th Berlin International Film Festival. Kuhn was head of the jury at the 24th Berlin International Film Festival in 1974. Alberto Fernández De Rosa
Alberto Fernández de Rosa (born 25 April 1944 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine actor. He has acted on various Argentine films and television series for five decades. Career Alberto Fernandez de Rosa began acting as a child. He debuted in theater at the age of eleven, participating at plays on the Teatro Liceo, under the supervision of playwright Luisa Vehil. While not a prominent actor at first, he struggled until he was finally able to land a job in the television series, 1962's '' La Familia Falcon'' (''The Falcon Family''). At the age of eighteen, de Rosa became a teen idol in Argentina. This is a list of submissions to the 38th Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. The Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film was created in 1956 by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to honour non-English-speaking films produced outside the United States. The award is handed out annually, and is accepted by the winning film's director, although it is considered an award for the submitting country as a whole. Countries are invited by the Academy to submit their best films for competition according to strict rules, with only one film being accepted from each country. Federico Luppi
Federico Luppi (; February 23, 1936 – October 20, 2017) was an Argentine-Spanish film, TV, radio and theatre actor. He won numerous awards throughout his acting career, including a Concha de Plata at the San Sebastian International Film Festival. Biography Luppi worked mostly in Argentine cinema, but also worked in Chile, Mexico, Spain, and the United States. He acted in almost 100 films and 50 television series from the time of his debut in 1964. His first films were Pajarito Gómez and Psique y sexo in 1965. In 2004, he directed his first film, '' Pasos'' (''Steps''), made in Spain.
