''Pain Agency'' is the second album by Scottish rock band Sucioperro, released on 4 May 2009 by Maybe Records. Overview Pain Agency was recorded in the band's studio in Ayr between June and October 2007. A video entitled 'The Making of Pain Agency' was created and posted on the band'YouTube page'Dragon's Pain Agency' a diary of events between the 10 June – 12 July written by the lead singer, was made available online from 16 July 2007 and includes information about recording developments, song titles, eating habits and progress through the computer game ' Black'. Ayr (; sco, Ayr; gd, Inbhir Àir, "Mouth of the River Ayr") is a town situated on the southwest coast of Scotland. It is the administrative centre of the South Ayrshire council area and the historic county town of Ayrshire. Chris Sheldon
Chris Sheldon (born 25 September 1962) is an English record producer, particularly of rock music based in London, England. He has produced or mixed records for the Foo Fighters, Garbage, Big Country, Feeder, Therapy?, Biffy Clyro, Oceansize, Pixies and Shed 7. He lives in London, is married and has two daughters. Career Sheldon was born in Pakistan when his parents were posted abroad for work and grew up in Surrey. He took his first steps in the music industry when he was a drummer in several local punk bands. In the mid-1980s he worked as engineer in productions of artists such as Dead or Alive, Prefab Sprout, Elkie Brooks and Roger Waters. ''Random Acts of Intimacy'' is the debut album by Scottish rock band, Sucioperro, released on 12 June 2006 by Captains of Industry. Overview "The Crushing Of The Little People" was featured on the "''Kerrang! New Breed''" double album compilation. Three singles were released from the album - free 'taster' download "Wolf Carnival"; "Dialog On The 2" and "The Drop" were released on CD and were accompanied by two b-sides each. "Grace & Out Of Me" was later released as a free download to coincide with the band's tour with Surrey rockers Reuben - with the accompanying music video directed by Reuben's Jamie Lenman. The artwork was the first collaboration between Stewart Chown (who would later go on to become the band's bassist) and Glasgow-based photographer Gordon Burniston. ''The Heart String & How to Pull It'' is the third album by Scottish rock band Sucioperro, released on 7 March 2011 by Xtra Mile Recordings. Overview The band financed the making of the album and completed most of the recording themselves at their beastin' studio, The Lair. The record was produced by the band, mixed by Chris Sheldon, and mastered by Chris Gordon. The artwork was once again done by bassist Stewart Chown, in collaboration with longtime Sucioperro photographer Gordon Burniston. In order to fund the publication and promotion of the album, and the March/April 2011 tour, the fan-funding intermediary Pledgemusic was used, which gave fans the opportunity to take up some special offers from the band. ''Mums' Bad Punk Music'' is a single released by Sucioperro on 17 November 2008 through Maybe Records. Overview The release of the band's second album, Pain Agency, was thwarted by several delays which prompted the release of "Mums' Bad Punk Music". The single contains a set of the band's heavier songs and, at the time, it gave some indication of what to expect from the forthcoming second album. Around the time of the release the band embarked on a small tour, including dates in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London. The title track received airplay from BBC Radio One DJ, Vic Galloway. ''Black'' is a 2006 first-person shooter video game developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox in February 2006. The player assumes control of Jack Kellar, a black ops agent being interrogated about his previous missions involving a terrorist operation. Gameplay involves players confronting enemies by using firearms and grenades. The game is notable for its heavily stylized cinema-inspired action as well as its sound quality and focus on destructive effects during gameplay. Jamie Lenman
Jamie Edward Lenman (born 9 November 1982) is an English musician and illustrator. He was the lead singer, guitarist and main songwriter for British alternative rock trio Reuben, from 2001 to 2008 whilst also working as an illustrator, which upon Reuben disbanding he made his primary focus. In 2013, Lenman began releasing and performing as a solo artist and has gone on to release four studio albums and one cover album. As an illustrator, Lenman worked full-time for The Guardian from 2007 until 2014. He has also frequently contributed to the Doctor Who Magazine under the pseudonym ‘Baxter’, releasing a collection of his work so far for the magazine called ‘Whoah!’ in 2014.
