PAiA Electronics
PAiA Electronics, Inc. is an American synthesizer kit company that was started by John Simonton in 1967. It sells various musical electronics kits including analog synthesizers, theremins, mixers and various music production units designed by founder John Simonton, Craig Anderton, Marvin Jones, Steve Wood and others. History Simonton founded the company in Oklahoma City in 1967 and began offering various small electronics kits through mail order. The first kit was a circuit board for the "Cyclops Intrusion Detector" for an article in the May 1968 issue of ''Popular Electronics''. Starting in 1972 PAiA began producing analog synthesizer kits, in both modular and all-in-one form. PAiA began publishing Polyphony Magazine in 1975. Paia, Hawaii
Pā'ia ( haw, Pāia ) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Maui County, Hawaii, United States, on the northern coast of the island of Maui. The population was 2,470 at the 2020 census. Pā'ia is home to several restaurants, art galleries, surf shops and other tourist-oriented businesses. It was formerly home to a Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar mill from 1880 to 2000. Pā'ia is the first town on the Hana Highway when heading eastbound towards Hana. Pā'is located close to many internationally known windsurfing spots including Hookipa and Spreckelsville. It is therefore sometimes called "The World Capital of Windsurfing". Geography Paia is located at (20.910694, -156.376340). The Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (or PAIA; Act No. 2 of 2000) is a freedom of information law in South Africa. It gives the constitutional right of access to any information held by the State and any information held by private bodies that is required for the exercise and protection of any rights. The Act was previously enforced by the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC), but since 1 July 2021 has been enforced by the Information Regulator. Grete Paia (born 27 August 1995) is an Estonian singer and songwriter. She is best known internationally for competing in ''Eesti Laul 2013'' and later in '' Eesti Laul 2016''. She also competed in Eesti Laul 2019 and in Eesti Laul 2022 in a duet with Andrei Zevakin. Early life Grete Paia was born on 27 August 1995 in Kuressaare, Estonia on the island of Saaremaa. She attended Kuressaare Gymnasium (Kuressaare Gümnaasium). Career On 13 December 2012, Paia was announced as one of the twenty finalists for Eesti Laul 2013 with her Estonian language song "Päästke noored hinged" (Save the souls of the young). Ian Paia (born 28 October 1990) is a Solomon Islands footballer who currently plays for Solomon Warriors in the Telekom S-League as a forward. Club career Paia has been a youth product of Koloale FC Honiara. After a few years he signed for the Solomon Warriors in 2014.
