Pagham Football Club is a football club based in Pagham, near Bognor Regis, West Sussex, England. They are currently members of the and play at Nyetimber Lane. History The club was formed in 1903, starting in the Bognor & Chichester Football league, and then joining the West Sussex league. The club at the end of the 1965–66 season became champions of the West Sussex league Premier Division for the first time and repeated this success two more times in the 1968–69 and 1969–70 seasons. As well as the league success the club also achieved two Sussex Intermediate Cup wins, in the 1966–67 and 1968–69 season. After achieving success in the West Sussex league the club joined Division Two of the Sussex County League for the 1970–71 campaign, finishing third in their first three seasons. Pagham is a coastal village and civil parish in the Arun district of West Sussex, England, with a population of around 6,100. It lies about two miles to the west of Bognor Regis. Governance Pagham is part of the electoral ward called Pagham and Rose Green. The population of this ward at the 2011 census was 7,538. Bognor Regis (), sometimes simply known as Bognor (), is a town and seaside resort in West Sussex on the south coast of England, south-west of London, west of Brighton, south-east of Chichester and east of Portsmouth. The Macron Southern Combination Football League is a football league broadly covering the counties of East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey and South West London, England. Luca Coleman-Carr (born 11 January 1991) is a footballer who played professionally for Lincoln City. Career Coleman-Carr commenced his career as part of the 2007–2008 intake of the youth academy at Woking before moving onto the academy at Yeovil Town whilst also playing for his local Sussex County Football League side Pagham, for whom he played his first senior football for in the 2006–2007 season. The Football Association Challenge Vase, usually referred to as the FA Vase, is an annual football competition for teams playing in Steps 5 and 6 of the English National League System (or equivalently, tier 9 or 10 of the overall English football league system). For the 2017–18 season 619 entrants were accepted, with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final to be played at Wembley Stadium. Sussex RUR Cup
The Sussex Royal Ulster Rifles Charity Cup is the original Cup which was presented to the Sussex County FA in 1897 by the Officers and men of the Royal Irish Rifles (subsequently Royal Ulster Rifles). The 1st Battalion Royal Irish Rifles won the Sussex Senior Cup, Brighton Shield, Charity Cup and Vernon Wentworth Cup in 1895–96 and were recognised as ‘Sussex Champions’. The trophy was presented as a permanent memento of their achievement and to raise money for charity. Since its inception in 1896–97, the Sussex (R.U.R) Charity Cup has had many different formats from an end of season invitation competition to its present knockout style. West Sussex Football League
The West Sussex Football League is a football competition in England. It was formed in 1896. The League has eight divisions of which the highest, the Premier Division, sits at level 12 of the English football league system. It is a feeder to the Southern Combination League Division Two. Membership is not limited to clubs from West Sussex. Currently the league also includes teams from Surrey and Hampshire though these are from places that are close to the county boundaries.
