Carl Pack (January 25, 1899 – August 7, 1945) was an American lawyer and politician from New York. Life He was born on January 25, 1899, in Worcester, Massachusetts. He graduated LL.B. from Brooklyn Law School in 1920, was admitted to the bar in 1921, and graduated LL.M. from Brooklyn Law School in 1922. Pack was a member of the New York State Assembly (Bronx Co., 3rd D.) in 1931, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937 and 1938. He was a member of the New York State Senate from 1939 until his death in 1945, sitting in the 162nd, 163rd, 164th and 165th New York State Legislatures. John Pack
John Pack (May 20, 1809 – April 4, 1885) was a member of the Council of Fifty and a missionary in the early days of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Biography Pack was born in Saint John, New Brunswick. He married his first wife, Julia Ives, in 1832 in Watertown, New York. In 1836, Pack was baptized a member of the Church of the Latter Day Saints. Pack moved to Kirtland, Ohio, then to Missouri, and then to Nauvoo, Illinois. He was a member of the Nauvoo Legion, holding the rank of captain. Pack also served as a policeman in Nauvoo. In addition, Pack was one of the four music wardens of the University of Nauvoo, working under the department head, Gustavus Hill. Robert John Pack Jr. (born February 3, 1969) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He last coached the Rwandan club REG of the Basketball Africa League A point guard, he played 13 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). High school and college career Pack attended Alfred Lawless High School in New Orleans. He was a high school teammate of future NBA player Eldridge Recasner and graduated from Lawless in 1987. He then attended Tyler Junior College for two years, transferred to the University of Southern California in 1989, and graduated with a degree in sociology in 1991. Robert Pack (born May 19, 1929, in New York City) is an American poet and critic, and Distinguished Senior Professor in the Davidson Honors College at the University of Montana - Missoula. For thirty-four years he taught at Middlebury College and from 1973 to 1995 served as director of the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference. He is the author of twenty-two books of poetry and criticism. Pack has been called, by Harold Bloom, an heir to Robert Frost and Edwin Arlington Robinson, and has himself published a volume of admiring essays on Frost's poetry. He has co-edited several books with Jay Parini, including '' Writers on Writing: A Breadloaf Anthology''.
