Brayden Pachal
Brayden Pachal (born August 23, 1999) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League (AHL), whom he serves as captain of, as a prospect for the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career Pachal began in Junior A hockey with the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL), before joining the Victoria Royals of the Western Hockey League (WHL) for the 2015–16 season. Pachal spent a season and a half with Victoria, before being traded to the Prince Albert Raiders during the 2016–17 season. Pachal would then spend the next two seasons with Prince Albert, being named captain of the team ahead of the 2018–19 season; the same year, Pachal would lead the Raiders to their second WHL Championship. Clayton Edward Pachal (April 21, 1956 – February 7, 2021) was a Canadian professional ice hockey centre. He played 36 games in the National Hockey League between 1977 and 1978 with the Boston Bruins and Colorado Rockies. Biography Born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Pachal was drafted in the first round, 16th overall, by the Boston Bruins in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft. He was also drafted in the second round, 17th overall, by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1976 World Hockey Association draft; however, he never played in that league. Vernon Jack Pachal (born November 4, 1930) is a Canadian former ice hockey player. He played from 1956 to 1958 at the University of Alberta, where he set a points record for the Canada West University Athletics Association. He then played in the Eastern Hockey League, American Hockey League, Quebec Hockey League, and Saskatchewan Senior Hockey League before his retirement in the 1960s.
