Pabubha Manek
Pabubha Manek (born 2 July 1956) is a politician from Gujarat, India. He has served as the Member of Legislative Assembly from Dwarka constituency for 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th Gujarat legislative assembly. Biography Manek was born in 1956 in Vachu village near Dwarka to Virambha Hakbha Manek. He had seven brothers. He studied till 8th grade. On insistence of his community, he joined politics. He contested and won the 1990, 1995 and 1998 Gujarat legislative assembly elections as an independent candidate from Dwarka constituency. He joined the Indian National Congress (INC) and contested and won the 2002 Gujarat legislative assembly election from the same constituency. He left INC and joined Bharatiya Janata Party and won 2007, 2012 and 2017 Gujarat legislative assembly elections from the same constituency. Okha, India
Okha is a coastal town in Devbhoomi Dwarka district of Gujarat state in India. It has a sea port. Dwarka situated some 30 km south and Bet Dwarka island situated 2.9 km across a small creek from Okha port are a major Hindu pilgrimage sites due to a temple dedicated to Krishna. Gujarat High Court
The Gujarat High Court is the High Court of the state of Gujarat. It was established on 1 May 1960 under the ''Bombay Re-organisation Act, 1960'' after the state of Gujarat split from Bombay State. The seat of the court is Ahmedabad. The present strength of the Gujarat High court is 27 against sanctioned strength of 52. Establishment This High Court was established on 1 May 1960 as a result of bifurcation of the former State of Bombay into two States of Maharashtra and Gujarat. The High Court started functioning near Akashwani, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad. The High Court had later shifted to the new building at Sarkhej - Gandhinagar Highway, Sola, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, from 16 January 1999.
