Pablo Álvarez Núñez (born 14 May 1980) is a Spanish former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Midfielder#Wide midfielder, right midfielder. Club career Born in Oviedo, Asturias, Álvarez started his professional career at neighbouring Sporting de Gijón, making his first-team debut on 19 May 2001 in a 1–2 home defeat against Real Betis in the Segunda División, second division and going on to appear in 168 games across all competitions. Pablo Damián Álvarez (born April 20, 1978 in Chivilcoy) is an Argentine sport shooter. He produced a career tally of two medals (one silver and one bronze) at the 1999 and 2003 Pan American Games, and was selected to compete for Argentina in two editions of the Olympic Games (2000 and 2004). Having started shooting at the age of ten, Alvarez also serves as a full-time member of General Jose de San Martin Shooting Club in his native Chivilcoy, under his personal coach Ruben Giannone. Alvarez' Olympic debut came as a 22-year-old at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where he shared a 31st place tie with three other shooters in the air rifle, finished 49th in the rifle prone, and rounded out his program to 33rd in the rifle three positions, accumulating total scores of 586, 582, and 1,150 points respectively. Pablo Gómez Álvarez (born 1946, in Mexico City) is a Mexican politician. He was president of the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) and Senator. He played a prominent role in the student's movement of 1968. On October 2, 1968, he was taken by the authorities at the Plaza of the Three Cultures during the Tlatelolco massacre, and was imprisoned until 1971. When he left the jail, he immediately rejoined the student's movements, becoming one of the organizers of the mobilization of June 10. He obtained a degree in economics in 1976. Gómez held the national direction of the Mexican Communist Party and was later elected federal deputy in 1979, being part of a leftist coalition. From 1982 to 1988, he was the president of the Unified Socialist Party of Mexico.
