Pablo Agüero
Pablo Agüero (born 13 May 1977 in Mendoza, Argentina) is an Argentine-French filmmaker. Raised in the Argentinean Patagonia, Pablo Agüero obtained international recognition with "Primera Nieve", winner of the Grand Jury Prize in the Official Competition of the Cannes Festival 2006. Some of the actors who participated in his films are John Cale (The Velvet Underground, Velvet Underground), who acted for the first time in the cinema in "Salamandra". Gael García Bernal (Amores perros, Bad Education (2004 film), La mala Educación), Denis Lavant (Mister Lonely, Holy Motors) and Imanol Arias (The Flower of My Secret, La Flor de mi Secreto) were gathered for the first time in "Eva Doesn't Sleep, Eva no duerme". Jeanne Moreau performed a radio adaptation of "Eva no Duerme" and an original song together with Gotan Project. It was the last performance of her life. San Sebastián International Film Festival
The San Sebastián International Film Festival ( SSIFF; es, Festival Internacional de San Sebastián, eu, Donostia Zinemaldia) is an annual FIAPF A category film festival held in the Spanish city of Donostia-San Sebastián in September, in the Basque Country. La ''Cinéfondation'' is a foundation under the aegis of the Cannes Film Festival, created to inspire and support the next generation of international filmmakers. It was created in 1998 by Gilles Jacob. Since then it has developed complementary programmes to help achieve its goal. Visions du Réel (Visions of Reality) is an internationally renowned documentary film festival held in April each year in Nyon, Switzerland. The Gijón International Film Festival ( ast, Festival Internacional de Cine de Xixón or ''FICXixón'') is an annual film festival held in Gijón, a city in northwest Spain. History The festival's origins date back to 1963. In the beginning it was an initiative of the City Council of Gijón in co-operation with Caja de Ahorros de Asturias (Cajastur).
