Pa McInerney
Pa "Fowler" McInerney (14 December 1893 – 15 January 1987) was an Irish hurling, hurler who played as a goalkeeper and full-back for the Clare GAA, Clare and Dublin GAA, Dublin senior teams. Born in O'Callaghans Mills, O'Callaghan's Mills, County Clare, McInerney first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-one when he first linked up with the Clare senior team, before later lining out with the Dublin team before returning to the Clare colours. He made his senior debut in the 1913 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, 1913 championship. McInerney went on to enjoy a twenty year inter-county career, and won two All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, All-Ireland medals, two Munster Senior Hurling Championship, Munster medals, three Leinster Senior Hurling Championship, Leinster medals and one National Hurling League medals. Clare Senior Hurling Championship
The Pat O'Donnell & Co. Senior Hurling Championship, more commonly known as the'' Clare Senior Hurling Championship ''or'' Clare SHC, ''is an annual hurling competition organised by the Clare County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. It is contested by the top-ranking senior hurling clubs in Clare, Ireland. It is the most prestigious competition in Clare hurling. Introduced in 1887 as the Clare Hurling Championship, it was initially a straight knockout tournament open only to senior-ranking club teams. The championship has gone through a number of changes throughout the years, including the use of a round robin, before reverting to a straight knockout format. Martin Moloney (born 19 October 1999) is an Irish rugby union player, currently playing for United Rugby Championship and European Rugby Champions Cup side Leinster. Jim Clancy (hurler)
James Clancy (1890 – 21 January 1971) was an Irish hurler. At club level he played with Newmarket-on-Fergus, and also lined out at inter-county level with Clare and Dublin. Career Clancy first played hurling in his local area with the Newmarket-on-Fergus club. He was part of the Newmarket team that succeeded in winning their very first Clare SHC title in 1912, before claiming a second winners' medal in 1916. Clancy's performances at club level quickly earned him a call-up to the Clare senior hurling team. He won a Munster SHC medal in 1914, before later lining out at wing-back in Clare's defeat of Laois in the 1914 All-Ireland final. Clancy continued lining out for Clare until 1928, by which stage he had won further Clare SHC honours. Death Clancy died in Ennis on 21 January 1971, at the age of 80. Jim Guerin
James Guerin (20 October 1894 – 16 December 1918) was an Irish hurler. At club level he played with Newmarket-on-Fergus and Ballycar, and also lined out at inter-county level with the Clare senior hurling team. Career Guerin first played hurling in his local area with the Newmarket-on-Fergus club. He was part of the Newmarket team that succeeded in winning their very first Clare SHC title in 1912. He claimed a second winners' medal in 1916, before transferring to the newly-established Ballycar club. Guerin's performances at club level quickly earned him a call-up to the Clare senior hurling team. After missing Clare's successful Munster SHC campaign in 1914, he was a late addition to the team for the subsequent 1914 All-Ireland final against Laois. Guerin scored three goals in the 5-01 to 1-00 victory. His last game for Clare was a defeat by Limerick in the 1918 Munster final.
