''PRESTAGS'' ("Pre-Seventeenth Century Tactical Game System") is a collection of five board wargames published by Simulations Publications, Inc. (SPI) in 1975 that simulates battles from the Bronze Age to the Renaissance. The five games were originally published as individual games with their own set of rules before being collected into one box and their various rules revised to produce one common set of rules. Description ''PRESTAGS'' is a collection of five two-player tactical board wargames in which one player controls one force such as Romans, Vikings, or Normans, and the other player controls the force that met them in battle. Chariot (game)
''Chariot: Tactical Warfare in the Biblical Age, 3000-500 B.C.'' is a board wargame published by Simulations Publications Inc. (SPI) in 1975 that simulates various historical battles during the Bronze Age. The game originally started as '' Armageddon: Tactical Combat, 3000-500 BC'', published in 1972, but was revised in order to become the first game in SPI's ''PRESTAGS'' collection (Pre-Seventeenth Century Tactical Game System). Description ''Chariot'' is a relatively simple 2-player wargame that provides simulations of fourteen historical battles during the Bronze Age. Although it has 450 die-cut counters, usually the sign of a more complex game, only some of the counters are used in any given battle. Gameplay ''Chariot'' includes fourteen scenarios, and for the most part uses a set of common rules that were developed for all the games in the ''PRESTAGS'' series. ''Legion: Tactical Warfare in the Roman Age, 100BC-700AD'' is a board wargame published by Simulations Publications, Inc. (SPI) in 1975 that simulates battles involving Roman legions against a variety of historical foes. Originally published by SPI as ''Centurion'', the game was revised and republished with the title ''Legion'' as part of a series called ''PRESTAGS'' ("Pre-Seventeenth Century Tactical Game System"). Description ''Legion'' is a two-player tactical board wargame in which one player controls Roman legions, and the other player controls one of Rome's historic enemies during the period 100 BC to 700 AD, including barbarian hordes, Carthaginians, and rebel legions. Twenty scenarios are outlined, including the battles of Battle of Carrhae, Carrhae, Battle of Pharsalus, Pharsalus, Battle of the Teutoburg Forest, Teutoburger Wald, Battle of Placentia (194 BC), Placentia, and Battle of Adrianople, Adrianople.
