Provincial Assembly Of Punjab
The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Punjab, which is located in Lahore, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan, having a total of 371 seats, with 297 general seats, 66 seats reserved for women and 8 reserved for non-Muslims. Chaubara ( ur, , pa, تحصیل چوبارا) is a tehsil located in Layyah District, in Dera Ghazi Khan Division, Punjab, Pakistan. The market town of 'Chaubara' is the headquarters of the tehsil. The Chaubara Tehsil is the least populated tehsil in Punjab, with a total population of 252,200. Of this total population, residents are divided into rural and urban locations which consists of 80.9% and 19.1% of Chaubara's population respectively. The Thal desert (Urdu, Punjabi: ) is situated at 31°10’ N and 71°30’ E in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. Located near the Pothohar Plateau, the area falls under the Indomalayan biogeographic realm and stretches for a length of approximately 190 miles (306 km) with a maximum breadth of 70 miles (113 km).
