Provincial Assembly Of Punjab
The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Punjab, which is located in Lahore, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan, having a total of 371 seats, with 297 general seats, 66 seats reserved for women and 8 reserved for non-Muslims. Samundri Tehsil (Urdu/ Punjabi: ) is an administrative subdivision of Faisalabad District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.Samundri is the city and headquarters of the tehsil. Samundri (Urdu, Punjabi: ) is a city and headquarters of Samundri Tehsil located in Faisalabad District of Punjab province, Pakistan. It is the 55th largest city of Pakistan by population according to the 2017 census. History Etymology Samundri was on a major trade route during the reign of Sher Shah Suri. The present site of Samundri city was founded in 1887 as Chak No. 533 G.B. Later it was renamed as ''Seh Mundri'' because of three Hindu mandirs in the area. Faisalabad District (Lyallpur District until 1979) ( Punjabi and ur, ) is one of the districts of Punjab province, Pakistan. 2024 Punjab Provincial Election
Provincial elections will be held in the Pakistani province of Punjab on 8 February 2024 to elect a new provincial legislature. On 5 August 2023, the results of the 2023 digital census were approved by the Council of Common Interests headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
