"Nanga Punga Dost" (English: Naked friend) is a Hindi song from the 2014 Bollywood film, '' PK''. Composed by Shantanu Moitra, the song is sung by Shreya Ghoshal, with lyrics penned by Swanand Kirkire. The music video of the track features actors Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma. Background The film's director, Rajkumar Hirani, presented the idea of the song to the composer, Shantanu Moitra. The song was conceptualised well before the first poster of the film, which features Aamir posing nude with a strategically placed vintage boombox. The loss of body hair was one of the physical characteristics that marked the biological evolution of modern humans from their hominin ancestors.
