PK-35 (originally Pallokerho-35) is a Finnish men's football club, based in Helsinki. It currently competes in the Ykkösliiga, the second-tier of men's football league in Finland. The club is based at the Algeco Areena in the Pihlajamäki district of Helsinki, and its colours are red, black and white. The club has played mostly in the lower divisions during its history, except for the lone season in top-tier Veikkausliiga in 1998. History PK-35 was founded in Vyborg as ''Viipurin Pallokerho'' in 1935. After the Finnish Winter War and Second World War, the club was refounded in Helsinki as Pallokerho-35 in 1948. It played mostly in Finnish fourth, third and second divisions until 1990s. The mid-1990s were successful years for PK-35, when the club was coached by Pasi Rautiainen. Pallokerho-35 (PK-35) Naiset is the representative women's football team of the Helsinki-based football club Pallokerho-35 (PK-35). The team debuted in Finland's top-level league, the Kansallinen Liiga, for the 2020 season. They gained promotion at the end of the previous season, winning the 2019 qualifier against IK Myran. PK-35 had previously reached the ascending qualifier in the 2018 season but lost to Oulu Nice Soccer (ONS). PK-35's home ground is MagneCit Areena in the Pihlajamäki () sub-district of Malmi, Helsinki. They also play home matches at the Pihlajamäen tekonurmi (Pihlajamäki astroturf), which has a capacity of 300 spectators. The club is "dedicated to women's football" and its representative team plays in the Kansallinen Liiga, the top-tier women's league in Finland (called the ''Naisten Liiga'', 2006–2019). After the Finnish Winter War and Second World War, PK-35 was refounded in Helsinki in 1948. When PK-35 was coached by Pasi Rautiainen in the mid-1990s they were promoted to Finland's top division, the Veikkausliiga. After some economic troubles, the club's top representative team was acquired by Hjallis Harkimo and renamed FC Jokerit. Briare Canal
The Briare Canal (french: Canal de Briare, ) is one of the oldest canals in France. Its construction started in 1604. It was the first summit level canal in Europe that was built using pound locks, connecting the Rhone-Saône and Seine valleys. It is long and is part of the Bourbonnais route from Saint-Mammès on the Seine to Chalon-sur-Saône on the Saône. From Briare to Buges, the canal rises through the first 12 locks some and then falls through the remaining 24 locks. Construction The canal was initiated by Maximilien de Béthune, duc de Sully, with support from Henry IV in order to develop the grain trade, and to reduce food shortages. Its construction started in 1604 and was completed in 1642. Between 6,000 and 12,000 labourers worked on this canal which connects the basins of the rivers Loire and Seine. Canal De La Deûle
The Canal de la Deûle is one of the oldest canals in northern France, originally connecting the river Scarpe near Douai with the river Lys at Deûlémont near the Belgian border. Roughly half of its original length has been absorbed in the high-capacity Dunkerque-Escaut waterway, as shown on the map, and the remaining length through the port of Lille is often considered as a branch of the main route, hence the alternative names ''Liaison'' or ''Antenne Bauvin-Lys.'' This official name was never adopted by the local population, which refers simply to the Deûle, evoking its original state as a natural river, although it has the size and the appearance of a built canal.
