PJ Dozier
Perry Linnard "PJ" Dozier Jr. (born October 25, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL) and the EuroLeague. He played college basketball for the South Carolina Gamecocks. College career In his senior season at Spring Valley High School, he was named to the 2015 McDonald's All-American Boys Game roster and scored 14 points. He committed to South Carolina. ESPN ranked him the 21st best recruit in his class. His father, Perry Dozier, was a basketball player for South Carolina in the 1980s. In his sophomore season, along with guard Sindarius Thornwell, Dozier was an important part of South Carolina's improbable Final Four appearance. Sindarius Dyquann Thornwell (born November 15, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball for the South Carolina Gamecocks. Thornwell was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 48th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft before he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. McDonald's All-American Game
The McDonald's All-American Game is an American all-star basketball game played each year for boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The last of these competitions replaced separate overall timed skills competitions for boys and girls.
