The First Main Directorate () of the Committee for State Security under the USSR council of ministers (PGU KGB) was the organization responsible for foreign operations and intelligence activities by providing for the training and management of covert agents, intelligence collection administration, and the acquisition of foreign and domestic political, scientific and technical intelligence for the Soviet Union. The Peninsular Gas Utilization (PGU) is the longest pipeline in Malaysia. The 1,700-kilometer-pipeline connecting Kerteh refinery in Terengganu to other areas of peninsula Malaysia. The airport has been operating since 2005 and, though small, enjoys one of the most modern passenger terminal buildings recently built in the region.
