The Peninsular Gas Utilization (PGU) is the longest pipeline in Malaysia. The 1,700-kilometer-pipeline connecting Kerteh refinery in Terengganu to other areas of peninsula Malaysia. The airport has been operating since 2005 and, though small, enjoys one of the most modern passenger terminal buildings recently built in the region.
