"PDA" is the debut single by American rock band Interpol. It was released on August 22, 2002 as the first single from their debut studio album, ''Turn on the Bright Lights''. The music video for "PDA" was directed by Christopher Mills. Unlike the two singles that followed; "Obstacle 1" and " Say Hello to the Angels" / "NYC", "PDA" did not chart. The song was nominated for a MTV2 award in 2003. Interpol is an American Rock music, rock band from Manhattan, New York. Formed in 1997, their original line-up consisted of Paul Banks (American musician), Paul Banks (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Daniel Kessler (guitarist), Daniel Kessler (lead guitar, backing vocals), Carlos Dengler (bass guitar, keyboards), and Greg Drudy (drums). MTV2 (formerly M2) is an American pay television Cable television, channel owned by the Paramount Media Networks division of Paramount Global. The channel launched initially as an all-music video service, once the original MTV had started to shift its programming.
