Partenavia P
Partenavia Construzioni Aeronautiche was an Italian aircraft manufacturer that specialised in general aviation. The company operated between 1957 and 1998. Founded by Professor Luigi Pascale, Partenavia became a limited company in 1959, and was acquired by the Italian state-owned aerospace firm Aeritalia during 1981. During the 1980s, the firm concentrated activity on the production of two aircraft, the P.68 twin-engined multi-mission transport and the P.66C Charlie trainer aircraft. During 1991, Partenavia was sold to ''Aercosmos''; seven years later, the firm was declared bankrupt and was dissolved. Much of its assets were acquired by rival aircraft manufacturer Vulcanair, who continued the production and development of some parts of the company's former product range. Percival (, also spelled Perceval, Parzival), alternatively called Peredur (), was one of King Arthur's legendary Knights of the Round Table. First mentioned by the French author Chrétien de Troyes in the tale ''Perceval, the Story of the Grail'', he is best known for being the original hero in the quest for the Grail, before being replaced in later English and French literature by Galahad. Tucker XP-57 was the designation of a lightweight fighter which was proposed to the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC) in 1940. Nicknamed the "Peashooter", it was developed by the Tucker Aviation Corporation under Preston Tucker, who later became famous for the Tucker '48 Sedan. To minimize weight, the aircraft was to have a steel tubular frame with aluminum skin and plywood wings. The HSY-55-class gunboat is a class of naval vessel designed by the Hellenic Navy and built by Hellenic Shipyards (HSY). This class of ship uses the modular concept so that weapons and sensors can be changed as required. These vessels are similar in appearance to . The first pair was ordered on 20 February 1990, but completion was delayed by the shipyard's financial problems. P57 is an oxypregnane steroidal glycoside isolated from the African cactiform ''Hoodia gordonii''. P57 is hypothesized to be the chemical constituent from this plant mainly responsible for the putative appetite suppressant activity of ''Hoodia'' extracts. In a rat study at Brown Medical School, intracerebroventricular injections of the purified P57 demonstrated that the compound has a likely central nervous system (CNS) mechanism of action like that of neuroactive steroids. The studies demonstrated that the compound increases the content of ATP by 50-150% in hypothalamic neurons. In addition, third ventricle administration of P57 reduced subsequent 24-hour food intake by 40-60%. BRM P57
The BRM P57 (originally referred in 1961 as the BRM P48/57 and in 1962 as the BRM P578) was a Formula One racing car built to race in Formula One from 1962 to 1965. Development 1961 Like the other British teams, BRM was caught off-guard by new regulations for the 1961 Formula 1 season that limited engines to 1.5 litres. They had a new 1.5 liter V8 engine on the drawing board, but it was not likely to be ready until late in the season. (In the event, it did not race until the next year). The Coventry Climax 4-cylinder unit used by Cooper and Team Lotus was chosen as a stopgap solution. It was installed in the first BRM spaceframe chassis, based on the 1960 BRM P48 Mark II designed by Tony Rudd. The P48 Mark II had abandoned the single rear disc brake introduced by the P25 in favor of a more conventional 2 disc layout at the rear. Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1C (p57, Kip2), also known as CDKN1C, is a protein which in humans is encoded by the ''CDKN1C'' imprinted gene. Function Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1C is a tight-binding inhibitor of several G1 cyclin/Cdk complexes and a negative regulator of cell proliferation. Mutations of CDKN1C are implicated in sporadic cancers and Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome suggesting that it is a tumor suppressor candidate. CDKN1C is a tumor suppressor human gene on chromosome 11 (11p15) and belongs to the ''cip/kip'' gene family. It encodes a cell cycle inhibitor that binds to G1 cyclin-CDK complexes. Papyrus 57 (in the Gregory- Aland numbering), designated by siglum 𝔓57, is an early copy of the New Testament in Greek. It is a papyrus manuscript of the Acts of the Apostles, it contains only Acts 4:36-5:2.8-10. The manuscript palaeographically has been assigned to the 4th century (or 5th century). The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Aland placed it in Category II. It was published by Peter Sanz. It is currently housed at the Papyrus Collection of the Austrian National Library (Pap. Vindob. G. 26020) in Vienna.
