P.A. Works
is a Japanese animation studio founded on November 10, 2000 in Nanto, Toyama. The company's president and founder Kenji Horikawa once worked for Tatsunoko Production, Production I.G and Bee Train Production, before forming P.A. Works Corporation. The studio changed its name to P.A. Works in 2002. The main office is located in Toyama Prefecture, where drawings and digital photography take place, and production and direction in the office. The company is also involved with video games, as well as collaborating in the past with Production I.G and Bee Train for anime. In January 2008, P.A. Works produced ''True Tears'', their first anime series as the main animation studio involved in the production process. On April 20, 2018, P.A. Works announced a new e-book label named P.A. Books, with the first release being a novel adaptation of their first anime, ''True Tears''. A or ''kabushiki kaisha'', commonly abbreviated K.K. or KK, is a type of defined under the Companies Act of Japan. The term is often translated as "stock company", " joint-stock company" or "stock corporation". The term ''kabushiki gaisha'' in Japan refers to any joint-stock company regardless of country of origin or incorporation; however, outside Japan the term refers specifically to joint-stock companies incorporated in Japan. Noriko Ogiwara
(born 1959) is a Japanese fantasy writer. Biography Noriko Ogiwara was born in 1959. Having read C. S. Lewis' ''The Chronicles of Narnia, Chronicles of Narnia'' at a very early age, she decided to become a fantasy writer. Her first book, won her several awards for children's literature and was translated into English by Cathy Hirano as ''Dragon Sword and Wind Child''; the English version was out-of-print until it was re-released by Viz Media in October 2007. The two sequels, and , have only been published in Japanese language, Japanese. Red Data Girl
is a series of fantasy novels written by Noriko Ogiwara. Six volumes have been released. The first volume was published by Kadokawa Shoten in 2008, while the last was published in 2012. Tsutomu Mizushima
is a Japanese animation and sound director. Career Mizushima was born in Chitose, Hokkaido and raised in Hata, Nagano (now Matsumoto, Nagano). He produced independent films in high school and when he graduated from Nagano Prefectural Matsumoto Misuzugaoka High School, he wanted to be a music teacher but gave up on higher education due to being out of work, so he got a job at Shin-Ei Animation in 1986. is a Japanese screenwriter, director and manga artist. She is one of the most prolific writers currently working in the anime industry. She won the 16th Animation Kobe Award. Personal life Okada was born in Chichibu. She was often bullied at school and skipped days to deal with social anxiety. After leaving middle school, she would spend most of her time confined at home. In spite of this, her proficiency at writing helped to get her into high school, although her social anxiety remained a problem. Jun Maeda
is a Japanese writer and co-founder of the visual novel brand Key under Visual Arts. He is considered a pioneer of nakige visual novels, and has mainly contributed as a scenario writer, lyricist, and musical composer for the games the company produces. His style was originally inspired by James Herbert Brennan, and is influenced by Haruki Murakami's novel ''Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World''.
