Outlook Festival
Outlook Festival is a musical event, started as a subsidiary of Leeds event SubDub, hosting all kinds of bass music. Previously, the festival was held just outside the city of Pula, Croatia. However, the coming of a new era for the festival has approached with a relocation to Tisno, Croatia for Outlook Origins 2020. Although held in Croatia, many of the attendees come from the United Kingdom as do much of the team involved in organizing the festival, however there is a large global following for the festival. Previously held in Fort Punta Christo and the surrounding beaches, the festival is unique in its setting, with sound systems and stages being erected in various tunnels and even the moat of the abandoned ruins. With the newly acquired surroundings hosting a similar setting, yet to be witnessed by outlook goers. Outlook origins will see a new amphitheatre, St. Michael's Fortress play host to the opening ceremony, whilst 'The Garden Tisno' sits within its own private bay ... Gentleman's Dub Club
Gentleman's Dub Club are a British dub band, originating from Leeds, Yorkshire. Biography Having built a reputation for delivering energetic live shows, the group has played for crowds from Goa to Glastonbury, Bestival, V Festival, Secret Garden Party, France's Telerama Dub Festival, Poland's Ostróda Reggae Festival, and Croatia's Outlook Festival. Their records remain within the top 40 of the iTunes store album reggae charts since release, hailing support from some of the UK's most prominent underground representatives including Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), Rob Da Bank (BBC Radio 1), David Rodigan ( BBC Radio 1Xtra), and Don Letts (BBC Radio 6 Music). Sound Reinforcement System
A sound reinforcement system is the combination of microphones, signal processors, amplifiers, and loudspeakers in enclosures all controlled by a mixing console that makes live or pre-recorded sounds louder and may also distribute those sounds to a larger or more distant audience. In many situations, a sound reinforcement system is also used to enhance or alter the sound of the sources on the stage, typically by using electronic effects, such as reverb, as opposed to simply amplifying the sources unaltered. Shy FX
Andre Williams, better known as Shy FX, is a British DJ and producer from London. He specialises in drum and bass and jungle music. Biography Shy FX's debut record was "Jungle Love", released in 1992 on the Permission to Dance label. Soon after, he signed to Sound of the Underground Records (often abbreviated as S.O.U.R.) and in 1994 released the breakthrough ragga jungle track " Original Nuttah" (featuring vocals from MC UK Apachi) which helped to cement his position as a mainstay producer of the jungle/drum & bass scene. Horace Andy (born Horace Hinds, 19 February 1951) is a Jamaican roots reggae songwriter and singer, known for his distinctive vocals and hit songs such as "Government Land", as well as "Angel", "Spying Glass" and "Five Man Army" with English trip hop duo Massive Attack. Troy Donald Jamerson (born October 31, 1972), better known by his stage name Pharoahe Monch, is an American rapper from South Jamaica, Queens, New York. Benga (musician)
Adegbenga Adejumo (born 1986), known as Benga, is a British musician from Croydon, known for being a pioneer of dubstep record production. He has been featured on a variety of compilations including Mary Anne Hobbs's '' Warrior Dubz'', Tempa's ''The Roots of Dubstep'' and the BBC Radio 1Xtra anniversary mix. Career Adejumo is of Yoruba Nigerian descent. Inspired by UK garage producer Wookie, Benga would produce tunes on a PlayStation, and subsequently FruityLoops. Skream
Oliver Dene Jones (born 1 June 1986), known as Skream, is an English electronic music producer based in Croydon. Skream was an early and influential exponent of the dubstep genre. After producing several singles, he released his first full-length album, '' Skream!'', in 2006. Skream and longtime collaborators Artwork and Benga co-founded a music group called Magnetic Man. Their debut album, ''Magnetic Man'' was released in 2010. In July 2011, Jones had his first child, a son. Jones is the brother of jungle DJ Hijak.
