''Out of the Blue'' is the seventh studio album released by Australian country music singer Anne Kirkpatrick. The album was released in 1991. The album has been heralded as "a watershed album in Australian country music" and Kirkpatrick's "breakthrough album". At the ARIA Music Awards of 1992, Kirkpatrick was awarded the ARIA Award for Best Country Album; this was Kirkpatrick's first ARIA Award. Anne Kirkpatrick
Anne Kirkpatrick (born 4 July 1952) is an Australian country music singer. She is the daughter of country singers Slim Dusty and Joy McKean. Biography She also has a brother, David Kirkpatrick, who is an accomplished singer-songwriter. The year 1964 saw the establishment of the annual Slim Dusty Australia-round tour, a journey that went on for ten months. This regular event was the subject of a feature film, '' The Slim Dusty Movie'', in 1984, which includes several performances featuring Anne Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick also features in the 2020 Australian documentary ''Slim and I''. Kirkpatrick has won Golden Guitar Awards at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 1979, 1991, and twice in 1992. Jon Vezner
Jon Vezner (born June 6, 1951) is an American country music songwriter. He is best known for his work with Kathy Mattea, to whom he has been married since 1988. Vezner began working as a songwriter in Minnesota and later moved to Nashville, Tennessee. He set up a publishing company underneath the apartment in which Mattea lived, and befriended her after jump-starting her car. They began dating in 1986, and married on February 14, 1988. Vezner wrote several of Mattea's songs, including "Where've You Been", " A Few Good Things Remain", " Time Passes By", and " Whole Lotta Holes". He also wrote " Then What?" for Clay Walker, " If I Didn't Love You" by Steve Wariner, and " You're Gone" by Diamond Rio. The compact disc (CD) is a digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. In August 1982, the first compact disc was manufactured. It was then released in October 1982 in Japan and branded as '' Digital Audio Compact Disc''. Michael Barry Reid (born May 24, 1947) is an American country music artist, composer, and former American football player. Born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania, United States, Reid attended college at and graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, where he played defensive lineman for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team. He then spent five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals in the National Football League, earning trips to the Pro Bowl after the 1972 and 1973 seasons, before retiring after the 1974 season. Guy Charles Clark (November 6, 1941 – May 17, 2016) was an American folk and country singer-songwriter and luthier.
