Oulu University Hospital
Oulu University Hospital (OUH, fi, Oulun yliopistollinen sairaala, OYS) is a university hospital in Oulu, Finland. It is the northernmost of the five university hospitals in Finland. The Oulu University Hospital is affiliated with the University of Oulu, and it is used as a teaching hospital by the Faculty of Medicine. The hospital was established in 1973. In 1963–1972 the teaching hospital of the university was the Oulu provincial hospital. The hospital serves as the central hospital for Northern Ostrobothnia region. It was previously named as Oulu University Central Hospital ( fi, Oulun yliopistollinen keskussairaala, OYKS). The hospital is owned and operated by the Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District ( fi, Pohjois-Pohjanmaan sairaanhoitopiiri) which is a joint municipal authority responsible for production of specialized medical services in the region. Kontinkangas
Kontinkangas is a district of Oulu, Finland. It is located to the east of the National road 4 and to the north of the National road 22 about two kilometers from the city centre. Its neighbouring districts are Kaukovainio, Raksila, Peltola and Oulunsuu. Kontinkangas is primarily an employment area. There were only 660 people living in the area in 2014 while about 9000 employees worked in the district (2011). OYS Psychiatry
OYS Psychiatry is the unit of psychiatry of the Oulu University Hospital (OYS), mainly located in the Peltola city district in Oulu, Finland. It provides psychiatric special health care, emergency- and crisis services, outpatient care, and other services for the member municipalities and the whole catchment area for highly specialized medical care (''erityisvastuualue'') of the Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District, as well as for the insurance companies and judiciaries of the said district. Ylivieska
Ylivieska () is a town and municipality of Northern Ostrobothnia region, Finland. It has a population of (), and it serves as the administrative centre for Kalajokilaakso and Pyhäjokilaakso, an area with a population of about 90,000 inhabitants.
