Kontinkangas
Kontinkangas is a district of Oulu, Finland. It is located to the east of the National road 4 and to the north of the National road 22 about two kilometers from the city centre. Its neighbouring districts are Kaukovainio, Raksila, Peltola and Oulunsuu. Kontinkangas is primarily an employment area. There were only 660 people living in the area in 2014 while about 9000 employees worked in the district (2011). The University of Oulu ( fi, Oulun yliopisto) is one of the largest universities in Finland, located in the city of Oulu. It was founded on July 8, 1958. Oulu University Hospital
Oulu University Hospital (OUH, fi, Oulun yliopistollinen sairaala, OYS) is a university hospital in Oulu, Finland. It is the northernmost of the five university hospitals in Finland. The Oulu University Hospital is affiliated with the University of Oulu, and it is used as a teaching hospital by the Faculty of Medicine. The hospital was established in 1973. In 1963–1972 the teaching hospital of the university was the Oulu provincial hospital. The hospital serves as the central hospital for Northern Ostrobothnia region. Oulu
Oulu ( , ; sv, Uleåborg ) is a city, municipality and a seaside resort of about 210,000 inhabitants in the region of North Ostrobothnia, Finland. The Finnish national road 22 ( fi, Valtatie 22; sv, Riksväg 22; also known as ''Kainuuntie'', "Kainuu Road") is the main route between the major cities of Oulu and Kajaani in northern Finland. The road is long, and it is part of the national transport route network that connects two regions, North Ostrobothnia and Kainuu. At the Oulu end, the road connects to Highway 4 ( E8/ E75), while at the Kajaani end, it connects to Highway 5 ( E63). The Finnish Transport Agency improved the entrance section of Highway 22 in Oulu between Joutsentie and Konttisentie, with the aim of increasing traffic flow and safety. In this contract, the section of Highway 22 between Joutsentie and Haarankangas was widened into a four-lane median road and the section between Haarankangas and Sääskensuontie was improved to a two-lane median road. Raksila
Raksila is a District of the city centre area of Oulu, Finland. It is bounded by the Oulu railway station to the west, the Oulu Cemetery in the Intiö district to the north, the Finnish national road 4 to the east and the Finnish national road 22 to the south.
