Otxarkoaga-Txurdinaga
Otxarkoaga-Txurdinaga is the third district of the city of Bilbao (Biscay), in the Spanish Basque Country. It is divided into the neighbourhoods of Otxarkoaga and Txurdinaga. It has an area of 389.94 hectares and a population of 26,458 inhabitants (2016), being one of the least densely populated districts of the city. History These two neighbourhoods were historically part of the old parish of Begoña. In these areas existed vineyards for the elaboration of the traditional Txakoli white wine, this has given the inhabitants the nickname of ''Matxorris'', from Basque language ''Mahats''=grape and ''orri''=plant. Line 3 (Bilbao Metro)
Line 3 of the Bilbao metro is a rapid transit line in Biscay, Basque Country, Spain. It is long and connects Etxebarri and the Uribarri and Otxarkoaga-Txurdinaga districts in Bilbao with the city center. Unlike the two other lines of the system (which are operated by Metro Bilbao S.A.), line 3 is operated by Euskotren, which runs it as part of the Euskotren Trena network. BizkaiBus is the name for bus services serving the province of Biscay, Spain. It is named after the Basque name of the province, ''Bizkaia''. The buses can be identified by their distinctive green (until 2009 yellow) livery. The bus network is integrated in the Barik card system. Bilbobus
Bilbobus is the name for metropolitan bus services in Bilbao. The service is owned by the city council of Bilbao. Operations will be transferred to Veolia Transport, the company that won the contract in May 2008. The buses can be distinguished by their red colour and large white lettering, and there are 28 major lines serving the city, with eight smaller lines connecting the town centre with neighborhoods with narrow streets where normal buses can't drive. Plus eight night lines, called Gautxori. Bilbobus has recently won a European Union prize for service excellence. Txakoli
Txakoli (pronounced ) or chacolí (pronounced ) is a slightly sparkling, very dry white wine with high acidity and low alcohol content produced in the Spanish Basque Country, Cantabria and northern Burgos in Spain. Further afield, Chile is also a minor producer. It is normally served as an aperitif and drunk within one year of bottling as it cannot be stored for longer.
