''Other'' is the ninth studio album by English singer-songwriter Alison Moyet, released on 16 June 2017, by Cooking Vinyl. It is her first album of new material since 2013's ''The Minutes'', which saw her returning to her electronic music roots. Background In July 2013, Moyet revealed that she had begun writing new material for the follow-up to her eighth studio album, ''The Minutes''. Studio sessions commenced in October 2016. She previewed a new song, "Other", from the then yet-to-be-titled-album, live at The Lexington for Cooking Vinyl's 30th Anniversary event on 5 December 2016. On 17 March 2017, Moyet and her team revealed the title of the album as ''Other'', along with describing it as an 'intelligent, adventurous electronic pop,' co-produced by Guy Sigsworth. OtherOS
OtherOS is a feature of early versions of the PlayStation 3 video game console, allowing user installed software, such as Linux or FreeBSD. The feature was removed since system firmware update 3.21, released on April 1, 2010. Software running in the OtherOS environment has access to 6 of the 7 Synergistic Processing Elements. Sony implemented a hypervisor restricting access to the RSX. IBM provided an introduction to programming parallel applications on the PlayStation 3. After OtherOS was removed, a class action lawsuit was filed against Sony on behalf of users, but was dismissed with prejudice in 2011 by a federal judge. The judge stated: "As a legal matter, ... plaintiffs have failed to allege facts or articulate a theory on which Sony may be held liable." However, this decision was overturned in a 2014 appellate court decision finding that plaintiffs had indeed made clear and sufficiently substantial claims. Other Music was a music retail store that sold CDs, records and cassettes online and at their brick-and-mortar location in the Noho neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The store specialized in the sale of closely curated underground, rare and experimental music. The physical store was located at 15 E 4th St, New York, NY 10003 from 1995 to June 2016. In January 2007, Other Music announced that it planned to sell high-quality MP3 files for download without using any type of digital rights management. This announcement follows similar moves made by other small online music retailers, including United Kingdom-based Rough Trade, New York-based Insound and New York-based Anthology Recordings. The announcement also coincided with the closing of Tower Records' Lower Manhattan location. Other Robert Ivor Windsor-Clive, 3rd Earl of Plymouth (9 October 1923 – 7 March 2018) was a British landowner, soldier, and business man, a member of the House of Lords from 1943 until 1999. Born in 1923, the son of Ivor Windsor-Clive, 2nd Earl of Plymouth, Other Windsor-Clive was educated at Eton College. His unusual first name goes back in the Windsor family to Other, or Othoere, the father of Walter Fitz Other, who was castellan of Windsor in the time of William the Conqueror. He left school in 1941 and was commissioned into the Coldstream Guards, serving throughout the Second World War until 1945. On 1 October 1943, he succeeded as Earl of Plymouth, Viscount Windsor of St Fagans, and Lord Windsor, but was then too young to take his seat in the House of Lords. He took part in the Normandy landings on D-Day, 6 June 1944, and rose to Temporary Captain. After the war, he continued his interrupted education at Trinity College, Cambridge, and graduated BA.
