Bilecik Province ( tr, ) is a province in midwest Turkey, neighboring Bursa to the west, Kocaeli and Sakarya to the north, Bolu to the east, Eskişehir to the southeast and Kütahya to the south, spanning an area of 4,307 km2. İznik
İznik is a town and an administrative district in the Province of Bursa, Turkey. It was historically known as Nicaea ( el, Νίκαια, ''Níkaia''), from which its modern name also derives. The town lies in a fertile basin at the eastern end of Lake İznik, bounded by ranges of hills to the north and south. The town is only southeast of Istanbul but by road it is around the Gulf of İzmit. It is by road from Bursa. Gölpazarı is a town and district of Bilecik Province in the Marmara region of Turkey. The mayor is Vedat Kazıcı ( CHP). Features Gölpazarı is a small town with 11,424 population. Despite its proximity to the most important metropolises of Turkey, and its fertile lands, the town never experienced overpopulation due to its isolated geography by the hills.
