Osman Islambayuly Batur ( kk, Оспан батыр, ''Ospan Batyr'', وسپان باتىر; zh, t=烏斯滿·巴圖爾; mn, t=Осман дээрэмчин, Осман дээрэмчин (Osman the Bandit); Mongolian: sometimes spelled as Uthmān/Osman Bātūr, Osman Batir or Osman Bahadur; 1899 – April 29, 1951), the son of ''Islambay'', was a Chinese warlord of Kazakh origin. Kuomintang
The Kuomintang (KMT), also referred to as the Guomindang (GMD), the Nationalist Party of China (NPC) or the Chinese Nationalist Party (CNP), is a major political party in the Republic of China, initially on the Chinese mainland and in Taiwan after 1949. Godfrey Lias was a British author, primarily of historical works, as well as a journalist, teacher and military man. Career During the first World War, Godfrey Lias was Captain and Adjutant, 11th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment and Instructor at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. At the outbreak of the Second World War, he joined the Foreign Office News Department.
