Oscar Marin
Oscar Marin (born December 5, 1982) is an American professional baseball Coach (baseball), coach. He is the pitching coach for the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has also coached in MLB for the Texas Rangers (baseball), Texas Rangers. Playing career Marin graduated from Chatsworth High School in Chatsworth, California. Marin played for Los Angeles Valley College for two seasons (2001–2002). He then pitched for two seasons (2003–2004) at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. Coaching career Amateur/Minor leagues Marin started his coaching career in 2005 as an assistant coach for the University of Arkansas-Little Rock baseball team. The High Desert Mavericks were an American Minor League Baseball team in Adelanto, California, that played their home games at Heritage Field at Stater Bros. Stadium. They played in the Class A-Advanced California League. The franchise had eight different major league affiliations over its 29 seasons. The South Atlantic League, often informally called the Sally League, is a Minor League Baseball league with teams predominantly in states along the Atlantic coast of the United States from New York to Georgia. Hickory Crawdads
The Hickory Crawdads are a Minor League Baseball team of the South Atlantic League (SAL) and the High-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. They are located in Hickory, North Carolina, and play their home games at L. P. Frans Stadium, which opened in 1993 and has roughly 4,000 fixed seats. Class A Short Season
Class A Short Season (officially Short-Season A) was a level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States from 1965 through 2020. In the hierarchy of minor league classifications, it was below Triple-A, Double-A, Class A-Advanced (created in 1990), and Class A. Teams in Class A Short Season played about 75 to 80 games per season, compared to the 130- to 140-game seasons of most professional baseball minor leagues. Spokane Indians
The Spokane Indians are a Minor League Baseball team located in Spokane Valley, the city immediately east of Spokane, Washington, in the Pacific Northwest. The Indians are members of the High-A Northwest League (NWL) as an affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. Spokane plays its home games at Avista Stadium, which opened in 1958 and has a seating capacity of 6,752.
