Osat
Osat ( sr-cyr, Осат) is a region in central Podrinje (left of the Drina), in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated between the towns of Višegrad and Srebrenica, and includes parts of the municipalities of Bratunac and Srebrenica, in the Republika Srpska entity. It is part of the wider Birač region. Villages in the region, according to teacher Vasilije Stefanović, writing in 1860, included: Blažijevići, Boljevići, Božići, Bujakovići, Crvica, Jaketići, Karina, Kalimanići, Kostolomci, Krnjići, Mlečva, Mošići, Osatica, Petriča, Postolje, Pribidol Srpski, Pribidol Turski, Radoševići, Ratkovići, Stanatovići, Tegare, Toplica, Vraneševići, Vucare, Žabokvica Srpska, Žabokvica Turska, Žlijebac. Srebrenica
Srebrenica ( sr-cyrl, Сребреница, ) is a town and municipality located in the easternmost part of Republika Srpska, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a small mountain town, with its main industry being Salt mine, salt mining and a nearby Thermal bath, spa. As of 2013, the town has a population of 2,607 inhabitants, while the municipality has 13,409 inhabitants. During the Bosnian War in 1995, Srebrenica was the site of a Srebrenica massacre, massacre of more than 8,000 Bosniaks, Bosniak men and boys, which was subsequently designated as an act of genocide by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, ICTY and the International Court of Justice. Drina
The Drina ( sr-Cyrl, Дрина, ) is a long Balkans river, which forms a large portion of the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. It is the longest tributary of the Sava River and the longest karst river in the Dinaric Alps which belongs to the Danube river watershed. Its name is derived from the Roman name of the river ( la, Drinus) which in turn is derived from Greek (Ancient Greek: ). The Drina originates from the confluence of the rivers Tara and Piva, in the glen between the slopes of the Maglić, Hum and Pivska Planina mountains, in the area of Šćepan Polje (in Montenegro) and Hum (Bosnia and Herzegovina) villages. Ratkovići, Srebrenica
Ratkovići (Cyrillic: Ратковићи) is a village in the municipality of Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnian War In 1991, Ratkovići had 338 inhabitants of which 337 (99.7%) were Serbs. On June 21, 1992, Bosnian Muslims killed 24 Serbs from Ratkovići. The Muslims attacked the village in the morning, where they killed unarmed civilians and burned their houses. All 24 fatalities were civilians, and among them included women, children, and physically challenged people.
