Paris Orly Airport (french: Aéroport de Paris-Orly), commonly referred to as Orly , is one of two international airports serving the French capital, Paris, the other one being Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). It is located partially in Orly and partially in Villeneuve-le-Roi, south of Paris, France. It serves as a secondary hub for domestic and overseas territories flights of Air France and as the homebase for Transavia France. Thiais
Thiais () is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the center of Paris. The name Thiais comes from Medieval Latin ''Theodasium'' or ''Theodaxium'', meaning "estate of Theodasius", a Gallo-Roman landowner. The Austrian writer Joseph Roth, exiled due to his opposition to the Nazi regime, lived at Thiais at the end of the 1930s and is buried at the local cemetery. The tomb of Russian writer Yevgeny Zamyatin is also there. Expatriate American journalist and novelist William Gardner Smith died there in 1974. Population Transport Thiais is served by Pont de Rungis–Aéroport d'Orly station on Paris RER line C. It is also served by Choisy-le-Roi station on Paris RER line C. Jean Fernand (born 19 November 1948) is a French impressionist painter, lithographer, sculptor and illustrator. History Jean Fernand was born in 1948 in Orly, south of Paris. His parents, who were Parisians, managed an industrial laundry. When he left the primary school, Jean Fernand passed his launderer certificate; he was therefore destined to take up the family business. His grandfather was a painter who also lacquered Napoleon's tomb, so Fernand was already very interested in painting and drawing since childhood. At the age of 16, he began to paint. RER C
RER C is one of the five lines in the Réseau Express Régional (English: Regional Express Network), a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris, France and its suburbs. The line crosses the region from north to south. The line runs from the northern termini Pontoise (C1), Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche (C5) and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (C7) to the southern termini Massy-Palaiseau (C2), Dourdan-la-Forêt (C4), Saint-Martin d'Étampes (C6) and Versailles-Chantiers (C8). Delica Landry (born 19 November 1977), better known by his stage name Dry, is a French rapper of Congolese origin. He is also known by the aliases "L'Amiral" and "L'Intransférable". Landry Delica grew up in Sevran in Seine-Saint-Denis, outside of Paris, where he was friends with the rapper Nessbeal before moving in 1991 to Orly in the Val-de-Marne. In addition to his solo work, Dry is a member of French rap group Intouchable alongside band member Demon One (real name Hakim Sid).
