Original Media was an American production company founded in 2002 by Charlie Corwin and Clara Markowicz. The company produced feature films, reality television, scripted television, and digital programming. Some of Original Media's television series include the TLC series ''Miami Ink'' and its spinoffs ''LA Ink'' and ''NY Ink'', the Bravo series ''The Rachel Zoe Project'', Oprah Winfrey Network's ''The Gayle King Show'', Discovery Channel's ''Storm Chasers'' and ''Dual Survival'', TLC and Destination America's '' BBQ Pitmasters'', History's ''Swamp People'', DIY Network's ''King of Dirt'', Logo TV's ''Be Good Johnny Weir'' and NBC's '' The Philanthropist''. Charlie Corwin
Charlie Corwin is an American media executive and a producer of numerous movies and television series. He is the former CEO of Imagine Entertainment and former Co-Chairman and CEO of Endemol Shine Americas. His productions have been nominated for Academy awards, Golden Globes, Emmys and Spirit awards. Life and career Corwin was born and raised in New York City. He is a graduate of Horace Mann School, The University of Wisconsin, and New York University School of Law. Corwin began his career as an entrepreneur in 1999 at the Internet start-up Live Music Channel, a pioneer in video streaming and a leading provider of live concert performances for television and the internet. He was Co-Founder and President. In 2002 Corwin co-founded Original Media, a production company based in New York. While serving as CEO, he created multiple TV series and formats. Dual Survival
''Dual Survival'' is a United States reality television series that airs on the Discovery Channel. The show features a pair of survival experts in predetermined survival scenarios while in challenging environments. For the first two seasons, the show featured the differing outdoor survival philosophies and skills of Cody Lundin, a naturalist and primitive-skills expert who runs the Aboriginal Living Skills School in Prescott, Arizona, and Dave Canterbury, a military-trained survival instructor who runs the Pathfinder Training School in Ohio.
