Cerca De Villaño
The Cerca de Villaño ( eu, Villañoko esparrua) is a small exclave belonging to Orduña, itself an exclave of Biscay (a province of the Basque Country, Spain). It is located in Villaño, a hamlet in Valle de Losa, Burgos. Its area and limits aren't known with certainty, and due to its small size and obscurity it isn't shown in most maps. The early history of the enclave is unclear, but it was part of Orduña by the early sixteenth century. The municipal authorities of Orduña used to visit the exclave regularly until 1951 in order to check the border markers. Around the same time, in 1950, the few inhabitants of the enclave were registered as inhabitants of Valle de Losa, and the exclave fell into obscurity. Juan De Garay
Juan de Garay (1528–1583) was a Spanish conquistador. Garay's birthplace is disputed. Some say it was in the city of Junta de Villalba de Losa in Castile, while others argue he was born in the area of Orduña (Basque Country). There's no birth certification whatsoever, though Juan De Garay regarded himself as somebody from Biscay (a region from the Basque Country). He served under the Crown of Castille, in the Viceroyalty of Peru. He was governor of Asunción (present day Paraguay) and founded a number of cities in present-day Argentina, many near the Paraná River area, including the second foundation of Buenos Aires, in 1580. Biography In 1543 he sailed to Peru with his uncle Pedro de Zárate in Viceroy Blasco Núñez Vela's first expedition. In 1561 he took part in the foundation of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Cercanías Bilbao (Basque: ''Bilboko Aldiriak'') is a commuter rail network in Bilbao, serving the city and its metropolitan area. It is operated by Cercanías, as part of Renfe, the national railway company. It consists of three lines, named C-1, C-2 and C-3.
