Orange (2010 Soundtrack)
''Orange'' is the soundtrack to the 2010 Indian Telugu-language romantic film of the same name, directed by Bhaskar and starring Ram Charan, Genelia D'Souza and Shazahn Padamsee. The soundtrack album includes six tracks composed by Harris Jayaraj marking his first collaboration with Bhaskar and Ram Charan. The album was released on 25 October 2010, at a promotional event held at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad, and was marketed by the Aditya Music label. The audio of its Tamil dubbed version ''Ram Charan'' was launched at 4 Frames Theater in Chennai on 7 November 2012. The soundtrack album released to highly positive reviews and gained critical acclaim. It became one of the highest rated music albums in Telugu cinema. Harris Jayaraj (born 8 January 1975) is an Indian composer from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He composes soundtracks predominantly for Tamil films, while also having composed for a few films in Telugu and two films in Hindi. He has been honoured with Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Life Time Achievement Award from Konijeti Rosaiah, the Governor of Tamil Nadu. Loosu Ponnu
The loosu ponnu () is a stock character predominantly in Tamil cinema and frequently in Telugu cinema, a girl who is portrayed as attractive but naïve and unintelligent. It is regarded as the equivalent of the Manic Pixie Dream Girl and dumb blonde stereotypes in the United States. The loosu ponnu trope became increasingly popular in 1990s Tamil cinema when the masculinity of the hero became severely overblown. Yugabharathi
Yugabharathi is a Tamil poet and lyricist. His birth name was "Santhanam Desan" and he was known as "Santhanam" by his family and friends. During the early 1990s when he began writing poems for magazines he started using the pen name "Yugabharathi" in honour of the great Tamil poet Subramanya Bharathi, commonly known as Mahakavi Bharithiyar.
