Orachunnoi Hor Mahachai
Maitri Netmanee also known as Orachunnoi Hor Mahachai ( th, อรชุนน้อย ฮ.มหาชัย); is a retired Thai Muay Thai fighter and amateur boxer. Biography and career Orachunnoi was born in 1950 in the city of Tkhakek, Laos from thai parents working at the border. He grew up in the Ubon Ratchathani province where he started Muay Thai training at the age of 10 with his uncle. He later joined the Hor Machachai camp in Bangkok. On the main circuit in Bangkok he rapidly established himself as the best fighter around the flyweight limit, winning a Lumpinee stadium title. Due to his domination in the lighter divisions he was put in numerous weight handicap matches with differences going as high as 12 lbs. He was famous for his ability to turn tides at the last second generating a massive income for spectactors who gambled on him, he was granted the nickname "The poor man's favorite". Phat Kongrum ( th, พัด คงรัมย์, born 7 September 1959) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter and amateur boxer. He was a Rajadamnern Stadium champion and competed in the men's lightweight division at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Biography and career Before amateur boxing, Kongrum had been competing in Muay Thai under the name "Samingnoom Sithiboontham" (สมิงหนุ่ม สิทธิบุญธรรม) and was considered one of the top Muay Thai fighters. He has fought with many famous Muay Thai boxers in the 1980s, such as Samart Payakaroon, Kongtoranee Payakaroon or Nokweed Devy. Chonburi Province
Chonburi (, , ) is a province of Thailand (''changwat'') located in eastern Thailand. Its capital is also named Chonburi. Ruengsak Porntawee ( th, เริงศักดิ์ พรทวี); also known as Ruengsak Petchyindee (เริงศักดิ์ เพชรยินดี) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter. Biography and career Samreeng Manyaing started Muay Thai training at the age of 13 with an aging boxer from his region. He fought under the name "Ruengsak Luklamplaimat" and dominated in Buriram and the neighboring provinces until he was brought to the Porntawee camp. In 1974 Ruengsak became the 112 lbs champion of both Rajadamnern and Lumpinee stadiums, he earned the nickname "The Stone Man" for his incredible durability and the power of his strikes. Lampang ( th, ลำปาง, ; Northern Thai: ) is one of Thailand's seventy-six provinces (''changwat''), lies in upper northern Thailand. The old name of Lampang was ''Khelang Nakhon''. Padejsuk Pitsanurachan ( th, เผด็จศึก พิษณุราชันย์); is a Thai Muay Thai fighter who competed at the highest level of Muay Thai in the late 1970s. He was the 1979 King's Muay Thai Fighter of the Year. Biography and career Khamsej started Muay Thai at the age of 14, fighting under the name Seisuk Kwanjaithungmon. He had about 40 fights in various provinces accumulating wins agasint future champion such as Lom-Isan Sor.Thanikul, Nanfah Seeharajdesho and Nokweed Davy. Jomwo Chernyim ( th, จอมโว เชิญยิ้ม) was a Thai Muay Thai fighter. Biography and career Jomwo began to compete in the major Bangkok stadiums in the mid-1970s under the name Jomwo Lukkhaokwang. He fought for a Stadium title for the first time against Tawanook Sitpoonchai in 1977, losing the fight by decision. A year later he lost to Kingthong Sakornpitak in a fight for the vacant Rajadamnern Stadium Bantamweight 118 lbs title. He had another chance on June 5, 1980, but was knocked out by Mafuang Weerapol in the second round. He finally became a stadium champion on his fourth attempt when he defeated Mafuang Weerapol by decision on April 8, 1981, for the Rajadamnern Stadium 118 lbs title.
