Opinion Polling For The Next Israeli Legislative Election
In the run up to the next Israeli legislative election, various organisations are conducting opinion polling to gauge voting intention in Israel during the term of the twenty-fifth Knesset. This article lists the results of such polls. The date range for these opinion polls is from the 2022 Israeli legislative election, held on 1 November, to the present day. Next Israeli Legislative Election
Legislative elections are expected to be held in Israel by 27 October 2026 to elect the members of the twenty-sixth Knesset. Background After the 36th government lost its majority, the 2022 snap election was called. This resulted in the Netanyahu bloc gaining a majority, and a government was successfully negotiated between Likud, Otzma Yehudit, Noam, Religious Zionist Party, United Torah Judaism and Shas. The coalition was sworn in on 29 December 2022. With this new government, Netanyahu returned to the premiership, having previously been out of that office since the anti-Netanyahu bloc won a majority in the 2021 election and formed a government without Netanyahu's Likud. Shas
Shas ( he, ש״ס) is a Haredi religious political party in Israel. Founded in 1984 under the leadership of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, a former Israeli Sephardi chief rabbi, who remained its spiritual leader until his death in October 2013, it primarily represents the interests of Sephardic and Mizrahi Haredi Jews. The party works to end discrimination against the Sephardic and Mizrahi community and highlights economic issues, religious laws and social justice. ''Maariv'' () is a Hebrew-language daily newspaper published in Israel. From Sunday to Thursday, it is printed under the ''Ma'ariv Hashavu'a'' () brand, while the weekend edition that is out on Friday is called ''Ma'ariv SofHashavu'a'' (). Hadash-Ta'al ( ar, حداش–جبهة, he, חד״ש־תע״ל) is a joint list of the Ta'al party and Hadash political coalition. The list was established for the first time in 2003 for the election to the 16th Knesset, and ran again in the elections of April 2019 and 2022. Meretz
Meretz ( he, מֶרֶצ, ) is a left-wing political party in Israel. The party was formed in 1992 by the merger of Ratz, Mapam and Shinui, and was at its peak between 1992 and 1996 when it had 12 seats.
