OPIE Authentication System
OPIE is the initialism of "One time Passwords In Everything". Opie is a mature, Unix-like login and password package installed on the server and the client which makes untrusted networks safer against password-sniffing packet-analysis software like dSniff and safe against Shoulder surfing. It works by circumventing the delayed attack method because the same password is never used twice after installing Opie. OPIE implements a one-time password (OTP) scheme based on S/KEY, which will require a secret passphrase (not echoed) to generate a password for the current session, or a list of passwords you can print and carry on your person. OPIE uses an MD4 or MD5 hash function to generate passwords. OPIE can restrict its logins based on IP address. It uses its own passwd and login modules. If the Enter key is pressed at the password prompt, it will turn echo on, so what is being typed can be seen when entering an unfamiliar password from a printout. OPIE will improve security when ...

Okey
''Okey'' () is a tile-based game. The aim of the game is to score points against the opposing players by collecting certain groups of tiles. Okey is usually played with four players, but can also be played with only two or three players. It bears resemblance to the game ''Rummikub'', as it is played with the same set of boards and tiles, but under a different set of rules. The game was derived from the original ''Rummikub'' after cultural contacts of ''Gastarbeiter'' in Germany. Okey is very popular in Turkey and among Turkish communities abroad. Setting up the game The 106 tiles are placed face down on the table and thoroughly mixed. Next, the players stacks the tiles faced down in groups of 5, creating a total of 21 stacks. There is no specific rule about how many stacks should be in front of each player. It is convenient to have at least six in front of the dealer, but this makes no real difference to the game. One tile remains unstacked and is kept by the dealer briefl ...

Okie
An Okie is a person identified with the state of Oklahoma. This connection may be residential, ethnic, historical or cultural. For most Okies, several (or all) of these connections exist and are collectively the source of their being Oklahoman. In California, the term came to refer to very poor migrants from Oklahoma coming to look for employment. The Dust Bowl and the "Okie" migration of the 1930s brought in over a million migrants, many headed to the farm labor jobs in the Central Valley. By 1950, four million individuals, or one quarter of all persons born in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, or Missouri, lived outside the region, primarily in the West. Prominent Okies included singer/songwriter Woody Guthrie and country musician Merle Haggard. John Steinbeck wrote about Okies moving west in his Pulitzer Prize-winning 1939 novel ''The Grapes of Wrath'', which was filmed in 1940 by John Ford. Great Depression usage In the mid-1930s, during the Dust Bowl era, large numbers of ...
