Operário Futebol Clube, commonly referred to as Operário de Campo Grande, Operário-MS or simply Operário is a Brazilian professional club based in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul founded on 21 August 1938. It competes in the Campeonato Sul-Mato-Grossense, the top flight of the Mato Grosso do Sul state football league. Operário is currently ranked third among Mato Grosso do Sul teams in CBF's national club ranking, at 179th place overall. History The club was founded on August 28, 1938, by civil construction workers of Campo Grande. The name Operário means Factory Worker in Portuguese. In 1982 the club won the President's Cup, played in South Korea. Since November 29, 1999, Operário is an enterprise. Operário Futebol Clube, often known as Operário FC or Operário Ltda. is a Brazilian Association football, football team from Várzea Grande, Mato Grosso, Várzea Grande, Mato Grosso, founded on 8 August 2002. The club played in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C once, in 2006. History The club was founded on 8 August 2002 in the place of Esporte Clube Operário, which was then founded in 1994 to replace dissolved side CE Operário Várzea-Grandense. Dourados is a Brazilian municipality, situated in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Southwest of Campo Grande (the state's capital). Manacapuru (''Munychapur'') is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Amazonas. Population The population of Manacapuru was 98,502 (2020) and its area is 7,329 km². The city is one of the biggest in the state. It is located about upstream (west) from Manaus, at the point where the Manacapuru River flows into the Solimões River. Main sights The municipality contains about 19% of the Rio Negro Right Bank Environmental Protection Area, a sustainable use conservation unit that controls use of an area of Amazon rainforest along the Rio Negro above the junction with the Solimões River. Clube Operário Desportivo ''(known as CD Operário, Operário dos Açores or just Operário),'' is a Portuguese football club based in Lagoa in the island of São Miguel in the Azores.
