Catherine Yvette Ceberano ( or , born 17 November 1966) is an Australian singer and actress who performs in the soul, jazz, and pop genres, as well as in film and musicals such as '' Jesus Christ Superstar''. ''Dallas et Kate'' is a collaborative studio album by Dallas Cosmas and Kate Ceberano. The album was released in May 2009. Ceberano said; "It was such a fun and organic experience making some truly aesthetic art." Additional musicians on the album are Paul Richards, Matthew Shadwick, Clinton Rankin and Bindy Cohen. ''Bittersweet'' is an album of jazz standards by American musician Mark Isham and Australian vocalist Kate Ceberano. It is Ceberano's first jazz album in twenty years. The album received a nomination for Best Jazz Album at the 2009 ARIA Awards. Isham and Ceberano performed at the Sundance Film Festival in 2003 and wanted to record an album together.
