''Only the Strongest Will Survive'' is the second studio album by British rock band Hurricane #1. It was released on 21 April 1999. All songs were written by Andy Bell except "What Do I Know?" by Alex Lowe. It made number 55 in the UK album charts,Roberts 2006, p. 264 and the top 20 in Japan. The band attempted a different musical approach with this album, with a heavier influence of electronic sounds, drum machines and sampling. Remixers were approached to provide the many remixes of songs from this album. Britpop

Andrew Piran Bell (born 11 August 1970) is a Welsh singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and DJ. He is one of two vocalists and guitarists of the English rock band Ride, and was formerly the bassist of Oasis from 1999 until their breakup in 2009. Bell was also a member of Hurricane #1 as well as Liam Gallagher's post-Oasis project Beady Eye until their breakup in 2014. Ian Patrick McLagan (; 12 May 1945 – 3 December 2014) was an English keyboardist, best known as a member of the rock bands Small Faces and Faces.
