"Only This Moment" is the first single from Norwegian duo Röyksopp's second album, '' The Understanding'' (2005). The track features Kate Havnevik on guest vocals and co-writing. Reception The single was released on 27 June 2005 in the United Kingdom and reached number 33 on the UK Singles Chart. Music video The music video for "Only This Moment" is closely based on the events of May 1968. The video contains riots, banners and elements of propaganda. It was directed by Brendan McNamee and Robert Chandler. Röyksopp (), a Norwegian electronic music duo from Tromsø formed in 1998. The duo consists of Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland. Berge and Brundtland were introduced to each other through a mutual friend in Tromsø, Norway. They enjoyed the same films and music, and shared an interest in electronics. The two experimented with various forms of electronic music, and bought a drum machine together during the Tromsø techno scene before going their separate ways. Several years later, the two met up again and formed Röyksopp during the Bergen Wave. Fred Falke
Frédérick Falke () (born 7 January 1973), known professionally as Fred Falke, is a French house and dance music producer and DJ. Biography Falke started out as a bass player before moving to production work. His first record, a collaboration with Alan Braxe named ''Intro'', which sampled The Jets' 1987 hit " Crush on You", was released in 2000 on Vulture Music. The pair would form a very productive partnership releasing a handful of singles and later making remixes for Goldfrapp, Röyksopp, Kelis, Justice, and others. Alain Quême (), professionally known as Alan Braxe (born 9 July 1971), is a French electronic music artist. Braxe is most widely known for his collaborative work with electronic bassist Fred Falke and Kris Menace, and for being part of the musical trio Stardust. In 2005, he released '' The Upper Cuts'', a collection of his previous released material. He is the cousin of French electronic musician DJ Falcon. Chab
Chab is the stage name used by Swiss trance music producer and remixer François Chabloz. Known for his progressive trance style, Chabloz has an extensive history as a remixer and he has also released original material under the monikers Moogwai and Star. Artists remixed by Chab include Gorillaz, Depeche Mode, Röyksopp, Ayumi Hamasaki, Nelly Furtado, and Every Little Thing. The work of Chab has been noticed by electronic DJ Paul Oakenfold and subsequently used on a trance compilation album of the same.
