Oni (video Game)
''Oni'' is a third-person action video game developed by Bungie West, a division of Bungie, and published by Take-Two Interactive. Released in 2001, it was Bungie West's only game. Gameplay consists of third-person shooting with hand-to-hand combat, with a focus on the latter. Originally planned just for the Mac OS and Windows, a PlayStation 2 port was concurrently developed by Rockstar Canada. The game's style was largely inspired by '' Ghost in the Shell'' and '' Akira'' and shares the same genre, being set in a cyberpunk world. Plot The events of ''Oni'' take place in or after the year 2032. In the game, Earth is so polluted that little of it remains habitable. Hardy LeBel Jr. (most often credited as simply Hardy LeBel) (born August 4, 1967) is an American professional in the video games industry with a variety of published credits on video game titles including game designer, creative director and creative consultant. Early life He was born on August 4, 1967 at the United States Airforce base Tachikawa Airfield in Tachikawa, Tokyo, Japan, and is the only surviving child of Hardy LeBel Sr. (deceased) and Joan LeBel. Hardy LeBel Jr. graduated from High School at Providence Country Day School and also attended Boston University where he studied acting for a time, but ultimately earned his bachelor's degree in English studies. Bungie, Inc. is an American video game company based in Bellevue, Washington. It is a studio owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Two major famlies of Mac operating systems were developed by Apple Inc. Amanda Winn-Lee is an American semi-retired voice actress, ADR director and script writer who works mainly on anime dubs. She was the voice of Mimiru in '' .hack//SIGN'', Rally Vincent in ''Gunsmith Cats'', Yohko Mano in ''Devil Hunter Yohko'', Momiji Kushinada in ''Blue Seed'' and was featured most notably as Rei Ayanami of ''Neon Genesis Evangelion'' fame. Akira (1988 Film)
is a 1988 Japanese animated cyberpunk action film directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, produced by Ryōhei Suzuki and Shunzō Katō, and written by Otomo and Izo Hashimoto, based on Otomo's 1982 manga of the same name. Set in a dystopian 2019, it tells the story of Shōtarō Kaneda, a leader of a biker gang whose childhood friend, Tetsuo Shima, acquires incredible telekinetic abilities after a motorcycle accident, eventually threatening an entire military complex amid chaos and rebellion in the sprawling futuristic metropolis of Neo-Tokyo. While most of the character designs and settings were adapted from the manga, the plot differs considerably and does not include much of the last half of the manga, which continued publication for two years after the film's release. In 3D video games, a virtual camera system aims at controlling a camera or a set of cameras to display a view of a 3D virtual world.
