Shining (Swedish Band)
Shining is a Swedish black metal band formed in 1996 by Niklas Kvarforth in Halmstad, Sweden. The band's music contains depressive undertones, which include personal and suicide-themed lyrics. The band's name does not refer to the book '' The Shining'' or the film based on it, but rather it means "the path to enlightenment", according to Kvarforth. History Kvarforth is the main composer and vocalist of the band and started the band when he was twelve. By the time Kvarforth was fourteen, Shining had released their first EP '' Submit to Selfdestruction'' (1998) on which he played guitars and bass. It was not until the band released their first album, ''Within Deep Dark Chambers'' (2000), that Kvarforth became the band's vocalist. The band released two more albums ''Livets ändhållplats'' (2001) and '' Angst, Självdestruktivitetens Emissarie'' (2002), before splitting up in August 2004. The interview was followed by the album ''De contemplanda morte (De reverencie laboribus ac adorationis)'', “a concept album dealing with Death ascension (from the deeps of the qliphoth to the very heart of Death)”, which The Ajna Offensive released in 2007. In 2014 the band released their second album, ''Grape of the Vine'', which similarly to the debut was a concept album but was instead based on the band's experiences with black magic and "the initiatory Occultism on the Left Hand Path", they also started playi ...

Theistic Satanism
Theistic Satanism, otherwise referred to as religious Satanism, spiritual Satanism, or traditional Satanism, is an umbrella term for religious groups that consider Satan, the Devil, or Lucifer to objectively exist as a deity, supernatural entity, or spiritual being worthy of worship and supplication, whom individuals may contact, convene with, and even praise. (In contrast to the atheistic archetype, metaphor, or symbol found in LaVeyan Satanism or The Satanic Temple.) The individuals and organizations who uphold theistic Satanic beliefs are most often very small, loosely affiliated, or independent groups and cabals, which have largely self-marginalized. Another prominent characteristic of theistic Satanism is the use of various types of magic. Most theistic Satanic groups exist in relatively new models and ideologies, many of which are independent of the Abrahamic religions. Death Worship
Many have incorporated a god of death into their mythology or religion. As death, along with birth, is among the major parts of human life, these deities may often be one of the most important deities of a religion. In some religions in which a single powerful deity is the object of worship, the death deity is an antagonist against whom the primary deity struggles. The related term death worship has most often been used as a derogatory term to accuse certain groups of morally abhorrent practices which set no value on human life. In monotheistic religions, death is commonly personified by an angel or demon instead of a deity. Occurrence In polytheistic religions which have a complex system of deities governing various natural phenomena and aspects of human life, it is common to have a deity who is assigned the function of presiding over death. This deity may actually take the life of humans or, more commonly, simply rule over the afterlife in that particular belief system (a sing ...
