Onda, Castellón
Onda is a town in eastern Spain, in the province of Castelló, part of the autonomous community of Valencia. It has 24,859 inhabitants. The Sitjar dam, located close to Onda, is an important feature for the irrigation of the nearby fields with water from the Millars River. The Valencian Community ( ca-valencia, Comunitat Valenciana, es, Comunidad Valenciana) is an autonomous community of Spain. ''Levante-El Mercantil Valenciano'' is a Spanish regional newspaper from the Valencian Community that belongs to the Prensa Ibérica media holding. It had a brief precedent in ''Avance'' (30 March – 15 April 1939) and it was the bulletin of the Valencian section of the FET y de las JONS. Patricia Campos Doménech (born 12 March 1977) is a Spanish association football coach and former aviator of the Spanish Navy. She is the Navy's first woman fighter pilot. Enrique Saura Gil (born 2 August 1954) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. In his career, he played mainly for Castellón and Valencia, appearing in more than 400 official games with the latter and winning three major titles. Saura represented Spain at the 1982 World Cup and Euro 1980. Club career Saura was born in Onda, Castellón, Valencian Community. During his career, he played exclusively in his native region: after starting at CD Castellón he moved to local giants Valencia CF, where he would be an undisputed starter throughout his ten-year spell. Vicente Alejandro Guillamón (4 June 1930 – 14 January 2021) was a Spanish journalist and writer. Biography Vicente Alejandro Guillamón was born in Onda, Castellon, Spain in 1930, and he was the youngest child of a humble farming and ranching family. He earned a technical accounting degree from the Official Schools of Technical Qualified Accountants of Melilla and Málaga and a journalism degree from the old Official Journalism School of Madrid.
