''On Earth as It Is in Heaven'' is the third album by the rock band Angel. It is the last album with Mickie Jones who had been the band's bass guitar player since its formation. It was produced by Eddie Kramer and recorded in an actual castle in the Hollywood Hills. "Cast the First Stone" and "Just A Dream" are very similar in sound to the songs on ''Angel'' and '' Helluva Band''. In fact, "Cast The First Stone" was written during the ''Helluva Band'' sessions. The band toured non-stop and it was during this time they made their only tour of Japan. The album peaked at #76 on the US Billboard charts. Lovember Records reissued ''On Earth...'' in a digitally remastered limited edition in August 2008. It included a 16-page booklet with liner notes by the journalist Dave Reynolds (''Classic Rock'' magazine and ''Kerrang''), a track-by-track run down by the singer Frank DiMino, all lyrics and previously unreleased photos. George Marino
George Marino (April 15, 1947 – June 4, 2012) was an American mastering engineer known for working on albums by rock bands starting in the late 1960s. Biography Marino was born on April 15, 1947, in the New York City borough The Bronx. He attended Christopher Columbus High School there and learned to play the saxophone and bass fiddle in the high school band and was classically trained on guitar. Marino broke into the music business as a guitarist playing rock and roll in local New York City bands such as The Chancellors and The New Sounds Ltd. until most of the band members were drafted into the service for the war in Vietnam. In 1967, Marino landed his first job in the industry as a librarian and assistant at Capitol Studios. Gregg Giuffria
Gregg Giuffria (born July 28, 1951) is an American rock musician and businessman. He was the keyboardist for AOR bands Angel, House of Lords, and Giuffria. Career Giuffria is originally from Gulfport, Mississippi, graduating from high school in 1969. A talented keyboardist, he played in several local bands including The Telstars and Flower Power (who released several singles on the Tune Kel label), he moved to the US West Coast where in the mid 1970s he joined Angel. After the band broke up in 1981 Giuffria put together his own band, Giuffria, with vocalist David Glen Eisley, guitarist Craig Goldy, bassist Chuck Wright, and drummer Alan Krigger, and achieved some success with their first eponymous album and first single "Call to the Heart," which made the Top 20 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Punky Meadows (born Edwin Lionel Meadows Jr. on February 6, 1950) is an American guitarist best known for his glam rock image and as a member of the band Angel between 1975 and 1980. Background and early career Meadows grew up in the Barnaby Terrace neighborhood of southeast Washington, D.C as the oldest of four brothers.
