Omar Sey
Omar Baru Sey Ne Oumar Barou Sy (2 February 1941 – 2 March 2018) was a Gambian politician who served as the foreign minister of the Gambia from 1987 to 1994. rulers.org He was dismissed from his post in 1994 following the 1994 Gambian coup d'état, 1994 overthrow of the government by Yahya Jammeh and the Armed Forces Provisional Ruling Council. He was one of the ministers who was not found corrupt by the Commission of Enquiry by the Jammeh regime. Sey was one of the most educated and well respected diplomatic ministers Gambia has had. He was born in Kayes, Mali. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a PhD degree in political science and continued to be one of the first African Lecturers in that University. Bolong Sonko
''Bolong'' (meaning "Bo's dragon") is a genus of iguanodontian dinosaur known from the Early Cretaceous-age Yixian Formation of western Liaoning Province, China. It lived about 125 million years ago in the earliest Aptian. Discovery and naming It was named by Wu Wen-hao, Pascal Godefroit and Hu Dong-yu in 2010. The type species is ''Bolong yixianensis''. The genus name is derived from the names of the brothers Bo Hai-chen and Bo Xue, who helped uncover it, and the Mandarin word 龍 ''lóng'' "dragon". The specific epithet refers to the Yixian Formation where it was found. The holotype fossil, YHZ-001, consists of a highly compressed skull with lower jaws from which a middle portion is missing. In 2013 a second specimen (ZMNH-M8812) was described consisting of an almost complete skeleton of a very young animal. It was found by a farmer near the village of Xitaizhi in Inner Mongolia. Lamins, also known as nuclear lamins are fibrous proteins in type V intermediate filaments, providing structural function and transcriptional regulation in the cell nucleus. Nuclear lamins interact with inner nuclear membrane proteins to form the nuclear lamina on the interior of the nuclear envelope. Lamins have elastic and mechanosensitive properties, and can alter gene regulation in a feedback response to mechanical cues. Issa Hayatou (born 9 August 1946) is a Cameroonian sports executive, former athlete and football administrator best known for serving as the president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) between 1988 and 2017. He served as the acting FIFA president until 26 February 2016 as previous president Sepp Blatter was banned from all football-related activities in 2015 as a part of the that year's FIFA corruption investigation.
