Commonwealth Games Omar Brown (born 21 June 1982 in Trelawny Parish, Jamaica, Trelawny) is a Jamaican sprint (running), sprinter who specialises in the 200 metres. He was successful as a junior athlete, winning the silver and bronze medals in the 200 m and 100 metres races at the 1999 World Youth Championships in Athletics, 1999 World Youth Championships. The following year he finished fourth at the 2000 World Junior Championships in Athletics, World Junior Championships. He ran collegiately for the Arkansas Razorbacks, University of Arkansas. He won the Athletics at the 2006 Commonwealth Games - Men's 200 metres, 200 metres race at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, and was ranked ninth in the world for the 200 metres that year by ''Track and Field News'' magazine. Omar Brown (born June 6, 1988) is an American football free safety who is currently a free agent. Brown signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. Brown played college football at Marshall. Early years Brown was an All-state selection while at Berkeley High School of Moncks Corner, South Carolina. He was selected for All-Lowcountry Defensive Back of the Year. College career Brown played college football at Marshall. He finished college football with 288 tackles, 9 interceptions, 29 passes defended and 5 forced fumbles. In his freshman year, Brown recorded 14 tackles, one pass defended and a forced fumble for the season.
